My family took a trip to North Carolina a couple of years ago and found this gorgeous lake. I had heard of it before, as the site of an HGTV Dream Home. You can see why. The lake is really beautiful and peaceful. It's tucked away and green is all you can see for miles. It is well worth the trip if you car looking for a getaway.
